A new study claims that how well your toddler speaks now could determine how successful they are later on in life.
Children develop speech and walking abilities at different stages from each other but researchers believe that if they are speaking and reading well when they are just two-years-old, they are more likely to be high-earners and homeowners as adults.
The controversial study, conducted by researchers at the Pennsylvania State University, the University of California, Irvine, and Columbia University, analysed data for 8,650 children in the Early Childhood Longitudinal Study-Birth Cohort.
